Entries close Wednesday July 2, 2007 at 8:00 PM.
All exhibitors must purchase a season pass for $20.00 with the exception of 4-H members who are exhibiting 4-H project pictures. A fee of $.25 per entry will also be charged.
Judging will be 1:30 PM, Sunday July 8, 2007 begining with color prints.
Entries must be delivered to Floral Hall on the fair grounds on Thursday July 5, 2007 between 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Exhibitor's tag should include exhibitor's name. Photographs will be released at 4:00 PM, Saturday July 14, 2007. The committee will not be responsible for pictures left after 6:00 PM.

  1. The committee will have the option of dividing class with over 15 entries into two sections with equal awards. Photographs will contain no risque material and the final decision on displaying pictures will be by committee.
  2. All entries will be limited to two per exhibitor in each class. The exception being in division 5 and 6 which will be limited to one picture per exhibitor.
  3. The exhibitor must expose all pictures. Pictures are not eligible to be entered unless copied onto photographic print paper.
  4. Pictures may be entered in the following division:
    Division 1: Color prints. Images must be a minimum 8"x10", and be flat mounted on 16"x20" white matte board to be hung vertically. (20" the vertical side) No cut outs in matte board.
    Division 2: Black and white prints. Images must be a minimum of 8"x10" and be flat mounted on 16"x20" white matte board to be hung vertically. (20" the vertical side) No cut outs in matte board.
    Division 3: Pictures framed, matted, and wired ready to hang. The frame may not exceed 24" on the long side and there are no print size restrictions. It is open to both color and black and white prints. No pictures will be hung that are not wired and ready to hang.
    Division 4: Digitally enhanced color prints. Images must be a minimum of 8"x10", and exhibited the same as color prints. The original print must be displayed with the entry. All pictures will be entred in class 07, miscellaneous, and if entries warrant the class will be divided.
    Division 5: Special category for 2007. One year only, color. The subject will be "Reflections" and be exhibited the same as color prints. Entries limited to one per exhibitor.
    Division 6: Color pictures of the 2006 Clinton County Fair. Any subject matter and are to be exhibited the same as color prints. Entries limited to one per exhibitor and all entries to be entered in class 07, miscellaneous. This will be an ongoing class with current year fair pictures being exhibited the following year.
  5. Photographs that have placed 1st, 2nd, or 3rd, or 4th in previous years are not eligible to complete in the same division. You may enter a mounted print from the framed divisions, or framed picture from the print divisions.
  6. The judge at his discretion may award additional honorable mention ribbons.
  7. The photo department will not be responsible for any damaged or lost pictures.
  8. Pictures entered in the miscellaneous classes in color and black and white prints or framed pictures that will not fit in any other class. The committee will have the option to move pictures and to their appropriate class. If you already have two pictures in the class, the moved picture will be marked ineligible for judging.
