Entries close Tuesday July 5, 2005 at 6:00 PM.
All exhibitors must purchase a season pass for $20.00 with the exception of 4-H members who are exhibiting 4-H project pictures. A fee of $.25 per entry will also be charged.
Judging will be 1:00 PM, Sunday July 10, 2005 for sides, and at approximately 2:30 PM for prints and framed pictures.
Entries must be delivered to Floral Hall on the fair grounds on Wednesday July 6, 2005 between 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Exhibitor's tag should include exhibitor's name. Photographs will be released at 4:00 PM, Saturday July 16, 2005. The committee will not be responsible for pictures left after 6:00 PM.

  1. The committee will have the option of dividing class with over 15 entries into two sections with equal awards. Photographs will contain no risque material and the final decision on displaying pictures will be by committee.
  2. All entries will be limited to two per exhibitor in each class. The exception being in division 6 and 7 which will be limited to one picture per exhibitor.
  3. The exhibitor must expose all pictures. Copies of prints are not eligible to be entered unless copied onto photographic print paper.
  4. Pictures may be entered in the following division:
    Division 1: Color Slides. All slides must be spotted for projection.
    Division 2: Color prints. Images must be a minimum 8"x10", and be flat mounted on 16"x20" white matte board to be hung vertically. (20" the vertical side) No cut outs in matte board.
    Division 3: Black and white prints. Images must be a minimum of 8"x10" and be flat mounted on 16"x20" white matte board to be hung vertically. (20" the vertical side) No cut outs in matte board.
    Division 4: Pictures framed, matted, and wired ready to hang. The frame may not exceed 24" on the long side and there are no print size restrictions. It is open to both color and black and white prints. No pictures will be hung that are not wired and ready to hang.
    Division 5: Digitally enhanced color prints. Images must be a minimum of 8"x10", and exhibited the same as color prints. The original print must be displayed with the entry. All pictures will be entred in class 07, miscellaneous, and if entries warrant the class will be divided.
    Division 6: Special category for 2005. One year only, color. The subject will be "FENCES" and be exhibited the same as color prints. Entries limited to one per exhibitor.
    Division 7: Color pictures of the 2004 Clinton County Fair. Any subject matter and are to be exhibited the same as color prints. Entries limited to one per exhibitor and all entries to be entered in class 07, miscellaneous. This will be an ongoing class with current year fair pictures being exhibited the following year.
  5. Photographs that have placed 1st, 2nd, or 3rd, in previous years are not eligible to complete in the same division. You may enter a mounted print from slide or framed divisions, a slide from the print or framed divisions, or a framed picture from the slide or print division.
  6. The judge at his discretion may award additional honorable mention ribbons.
  7. The photo department will not be responsible for any damaged or lost pictures.
