About 1950 the Clinton County Agricultural Society released its lease in favor of a 99 year lease by
Wilmington Fair Company to the county. The County Commissioners directed the Agricultural Society to
conduct the fair. This lease and deeds increased the availability of public funds for the operating of
the fair. The Brandenburg Building was built in 1950 at a cost of $8000.00 dollars. The dimension
